How to Update Prescription Order Dispensing Status

After a prescription order is sold on an invoice, it will proceed through stages of production and fulfillment. This tutorial will explain how to process existing orders through final dispensing status.

Select an Order From the Orders Tab

Any order can be found using the search functions in the Orders tab. Enter values into any relevant fields, then click "Search" to return a list of valid results. Use the drop-down arrow to view all items contained in a selected order based on its Order ID number:


When the order is selected, it will automatically populate in the Patients tab, threaded to the corresponding patient profile:

Alternatively, an order can be viewed directly within any patient profile using the Draft Orders and/or Order History toggles:


Status Updates


Click the desired status indicator: Received, Inspected, Notified, or Dispensed. The order's status will update, with a time and date stamp indicating which user made each status update:


Undo Status


If a status update is made erroneously, click "Undo" beneath the current status indicator:


The order's status will automatically revert to the immediately prior option:
