How to Create a New User in Your Vision(X) Site

This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a new user within an existing Vision(X) organization + site context.

Identifying Your Vision(X) Organization and Location Site

Your current location is always visible in the upper-right portion of your screen. Click the search fields to select a context (organization + location) as needed to change between contexts. A new Vision(X) user can be created for any site in your VX organization from any site location:

 
Settings and User Management

Proceed to the Settings tab and select the Setup menus list. Select User Management, then click "New User":

The Create New Users and Staff menu will appear. Enter values into all required fields (marked by blue asterisk), and proceed:


Assign Location & Roles


Select the from your list of Vision(X) organizations. Once an org box is checked, the sites within that organization will also appear, letting you select which site/sites the new user will have access to. Assign the correct location(s) to the new user, then the drop-down "Roles" menu will populate with options. Select the role(s) that you would like the new profile to have, then click "Save":


Success!


You will receive a confirmation message that the new user profile has been added to your Vision(X) organization and site(s):
