How a Patient Logs into Patient Portal
The patient portal allows patients to book appointments, send and receive messages with your practice's Vision(X) users, e-sign important documents, and access vision prescriptions and other care recommendations. Once a portal is created, the patient will need to follow additional instructions provided in an automated email to access their portal.
In order to re-send a patient their credentials, a Vision(X) user must first create their patient portal. View the patient's details to confirm that an active portal is associated with their account:

Once the account is created, the patient will receive a new email at the address displayed in their communication details. Opening the email will present a link to log in to their portal:
Install Mobile Authenticator
An authenticator app is required for the patient to use their portal credentials. Following the sequential steps presented, the patient can select and install an authenticator, scan the generated QR code matched to their portal, and enter the unique one-time-password (OTP) provided. They can also select a name for the device they are using to access their portal for easy reference on future log-in attempts:
Create a New Password
The patient will next be directed to create their own unique password to activate their patient portal account. Enter values for each required field (marked by blue asterisk), then click "Submit":
