Documenting Visual Field
Visual field identifies a patient's range of side and central vision by measuring how far they are able to see up, down, left and right without moving their eyes. This tutorial will demonstrate how to document Visual Field in a patient exam in Vision(X).
Begin the exam, then select the Visual Field category to open the documentation fields. If any visual field testing was documented by a non-provider (technician) or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review" or "Not Performed" as appropriate:
Confrontational Visual Field & Visual Field
For each eye, select either "Full" or Abnormal" toggles to document both standard visual field and confrontational visual field. All fields can be quickly re-set using the "Clear All" button:
If you possess clinical images that you would like to attach to this field, click "Open Image Module". The Clinical Images menu will appear as a pull-out from the right-hand side of the screen. Click "Manual Upload" to add any image file, then click the "X" to close the menu when ready:
When ready, double-scroll the bottom of the page to proceed to the next portion of the exam:
