Documenting Visual Acuity

Visual acuity is a measurement of a patient's ability to see without the use of prescription lenses. This tutorial will demonstrate how to docuemnt lensometry in a patient exam in Vision(X).

Unaided Visual Acuity Menu


Begin the exam, then select the Unaided Visual Acuity category to open the documentation fields. If this field was documented by a non-provider (technician) or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review" or "Not Performed" as appropriate:


Enter values into the corresponding fields. Values may be entered manually for each field, and selecting a field may open a slider menu for easy selection of value. Additional buttons exist to quickly mark "OD=OS" (to duplicate values for both eyes) and "20/20 All". All fields can be quickly re-set using the "Clear All" button
