Documenting Tonometry

Tonometry is a measurement of the fluid pressure inside a human eye. This tutorial will demonstrate how to document intraocular pressure in a patient exam in Vision(X).

Begin the exam, then select the Tonometry category to open the documentation fields. If this field was documented by a non-provider (technician) or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review" or "Not Performed" as appropriate:


Tonometry Values

Select method from the drop-down menu, then enter values into the corresponding fields. Values may be entered manually for each field, and selecting a field may open a slider menu for easy selection of value. If applicable, use the "show night value toggle" to enter data for night time vision. All fields can be quickly re-set using the "Clear All" button:
