Documenting Lensometry

Lensometry is the process of measuring a patient's pair of existing prescription eyeglasses. This tutorial will demonstrate how to document lensometry in a patient exam in Vision(X).

Lensometry Menu

Begin the exam, then select the Lensometry category to open the documentation fields. If this field was documented by a non-provider (technician) or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review" or "Not Performed" as appropriate:

Enter values into the corresponding fields. Values may be entered manually for each field, and selecting a field may open a slider menu for easy selection of value. Additional buttons exist to quickly mark "OD=OS" (to duplicate values for both eyes) and "20/20 All". All fields can be quickly re-set using the "Clear All" button

If you possess clinical images that you would like to attach to this field, click "Open Image Module":

The Clinical Images menu will appear as a pull-out from the right-hand side of the screen. Click "Manual Upload" to add any image file, then click the "X" to close the menu when ready:

The image is now saved, and can be viewed by clicking the "Clinical Images of Encounter" button at the bottom of the screen:

When ready, double-scroll the bottom of the page to proceed to the next portion of the exam:
