Begin the exam, then select the Contact Lens Trial category to open the documentation fields. If any prescription was already documented by another person, or will simply not be completed as part of this exam, select the check box for "To Review", "Not Performed", or "Sign CL trial draft" options as appropriate:
OD & OS
Each eye can be documented separately or together. Select a documentation field type (OD/OS/OU) toggle option, then choose either standard or custom lenses. Continue to the Product Selection field to choose a product from your Vision(X) catalog searching by manufacturer, lens product, and/or lens type - required items are marked by a blue asterisk. Next, enter values for each item in the Power field. If the same values are to be used for each eye, use the "OD=OS" button, or re-set all item fields using the "Clear All" button:
Aided Visual Acuity
Document aided visual acuity as needed. Values can be entered manually, or by using the additional options that appear from the menu at the bottom of the screen:

Scroll down to view additional, optional test fields for CL over-refraction & Aided VA and CL Evaluation. Enter values as applicable:
Clinical Images
If you possess clinical images that you would like to attach to this field, click "Open Image Module". The Clinical Images menu will appear as a pull-out from the right-hand side of the screen. Click "Manual Upload" to add any image file, then click the "X" to close the menu when ready:
Sign CL Trial Draft
When the applicable fields have been completed, the "Sign CL Trial Drafts" button at the top of this exam section will become available. Use the drop-down menu to view signing options, then click to sign and finalize the lens trial prescription:
The finalized trial lens prescription is now signed, and can be printed:
When ready, double-scroll the bottom of the page to proceed to the next portion of the exam:
